December 6, 2006
12 students from Ridgewater College toured the station. The main focus was on commercial production and copy writing. The students recorded Psa?s on safe and sober driving. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff also participated.

February 6, 2007
Ben Taylor attended the University of Minnesota-Morris summer camp and job fair. A booth was set up that represented KQIC, KWLM, KOLV and KLFN.

June 28-29, 2007
Program Director, MaryElin Macht; and Ben Taylor attended Conclave: Radio Under Construction. MaryElin and Ben attended seminars that encouraged growth in broadcasting and hearing ideas from other broadcasters.

July, 2007
A group of 10 people were given a tour of Lakeland Broadcasting. The group Received information on programming, music, sports and production.

September 20, 2007
Emily Lamb represented KQIC, KWLM, KOLV and KLFN at a job fair at Brown College in Mendota Heights.

October 29, 2007
Steve Linder, owner of Lakeland Broadcasting Inc, attended an EEO training session sponsored by the Minnesota Broadcasters Association.

November 6, 2007
Donation made to the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting. Owner, Steve Linder, also serves on the Board of Directors and the Strategic Planning Committee.

November 16, 2007
A tour was given to the Leadership Perspective group from Willmar. A group of 30-40 people received a hour tour. Because of the large group, they were divided into three groups. Salespersons: Mike Miller, Art Cruze, and Jena Hillenbrand, Announcers: MaryElin Macht, Ben Taylor, Bob Thompson and News Director, J.P. Cola participated in giving the tour.

November 26, 2007
Steve Linder, Doug Loy, Mary Overman and MaryElin Macht met for an internal review on our EEO. Hire policies and participation of supplemental initiatives for the next year discussed.
