Idol Contestants to Sing Rolling Stones
American Idol contestants are practicing their best Mick Jagger dance moves, as the show's Top 12 are set to tackle songs from legendary rockers the Rolling Stones.
Host Ryan Seacrest announced the theme for next week during a taped radio promotion last night (March 10th), according to Entertainment Weekly.
Though details are still scant, guest spots by Jagger or Keith Richards aren't likely, and it is still a matter of conjecture what songs will be covered by contestants.
In 2008, the popular singing competition show honored the music of the Beatles when contestants were given the assignment of covering tunes by the Fab Four.
